I’ve always been drawn to storytelling
As a marketing and communications professional, I relish in the creativity that comes with designing marketing campaigns that helps brands tell their authentic story and build loyal, engaged audiences.
As a writer and a filmmaker, I enjoy telling stories that make other people laugh, as I believe wholeheartedly in the capacity of humor to heal and the power that comedy has to bring people together.
Bio
Sarah began her love of storytelling and entertainment when she was just a young tot who used to swipe the family camera to film herself imitating her favorite movies. Much to her parents’ surprise, they ultimately uncovered hours of footage of Sarah acting out full scenes (and all the characters) from comedy classics such as Meet the Parents and Father of the Bride.
This love of storytelling has continued as a throughline in Sarah’s educational and professional tenures. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theater & English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Master’s in Performance Studies from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Now rooted in Atlanta, Sarah works as a Marketing Strategist in the beauty and wellness space, helping brands connect with their audiences. She also maintains her love for the entertainment industry, writing and producing screenplays. She and her husband Joe founded Sir Henry Productions, a media company that specializes in developing comedy films.
As a marketing and communications strategist, Sarah has over 8 years of experience working across PR, Communications, and Marketing. She is particularly adept at developing creative marketing ideas; employing analytics to inform decision making; advising on strategies, systems, and structures; and project management (she is dubbed the “excel spreadsheet queen” by her colleagues. Lovingly…we think.)
Sarah is a passionate learner, collaborator, and creator, always looking to challenge herself and grow. As a staunch believer that laughter is the source of all goodness, Sarah has been active within the improv community, performing around the city with her improv group, The Naughty Rigatonis, at venues such as Dad’s Garage and Dynamic El Dorado.
Sarah’s interests include: beauty & wellness (staunch Fat Mascara fan - IYKYK), cooking new recipes, organizing cabinets, Johann Hari’s book Stolen Focus, excel spreadsheets, and matcha tea.
